Dr. William Nerestant
Dr. William Nerestant received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit/Mercy in Michigan. Immediately after, he joined the Air Force as an Officer in the Dental Corps. Since his Air Force days, Dr. Nerestant has been nurturing a passion for comprehensive dentistry. He has studied with the esteemed Dawson Center for Comprehensive Dentistry, Misch Implant Institute, Nash Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry, and Dr. Frank Spear, a living legend in cosmetic dentistry, to name a few.
Dr. Nerestant utilizes his extensive training and experience to treat even the most challenging dental situations. He has been delivering cosmetic, implant, and functional solutions to patients for over 23 years. His commitment to “doing it right” and ability to “handle just about anything” have won him the admiration of thousands of patients.
A big bonus is that Dr. Nerestant uses his expertise to prevent big problems from ever happening. He has been helping patients so they can enjoy eating and smiling again with dental implants since 1998. He has implemented unique methods of implant dentistry to “rescue” denture patients and those with debilitated teeth needing complete reconstructions. He also uses special techniques in sedation dentistry for fearful patients. Combined with advanced techniques, these strategies allow even the most compromised individual to return to a life of enjoying dental health. In light of his broad scope of training, most of his patients’ treatments are performed in the same office.

Dr. Tina Joseph
Dr. Tina Joseph graduated with a BS degree from Florida State and a DMD degree from LECOM School of Dental Medicine. After graduating, she packed her bags and moved to New Jersey, where she completed a General Practice Residency program and joined private practice. Now she has returned to her home state to be closer to family and loved ones. Her interest in dentistry was initiated by her cousin, but after shadowing local dentists and joining a mission trip to Panama, she became passionate about the field. In addition to continuous education, Dr. Joseph enjoys using online resources such as dental forums and podcasts to connect with fellow dentists and specialists to learn from their experiences.
She appreciates the combination of artistry and science in dentistry, which allows her to restore smiles and boost confidence. Her diverse interests across various fields within dentistry enable her to provide comprehensive and tailored treatment to each patient. One memorable experience for Dr. Joseph was helping a patient with severe dental anxiety and multiple dental issues. Through compassionate care and gentle techniques, she was able to alleviate the patient’s anxiety and restore their oral health, which was incredibly rewarding.
Dr. Joseph is an advocate for community outreach and enjoys participating in events such as “Give Kids A Smile” to provide free dental care. Her approach is centered on empathy, communication, and personalized treatment, prioritizing patient satisfaction by actively listening and customizing treatment based on individual needs, preferences, and budget. Dr. Joseph always places patients first, focusing on compassionate and personalized care. She takes the time to listen to her patients, understanding their concerns, preferences, and dental goals.
Lastly, Dr. Joseph aims to continually enhance her skills and knowledge, as well as mentor young dentists and those interested in the field, to make a positive impact on both individual lives and the broader field of dentistry.
Dr. Chun Han Chang
Dr. Chun Han Chang is a licensed general dentist with 10 years of experience in restorative and prosthetic dentistry. She completed advanced prosthodontic training in Taiwan and later served as a prosthodontic fellow at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she further refined her clinical expertise in digital dentistry within a multidisciplinary care setting.
Dr. Chang’s clinical interests include full-mouth rehabilitation, esthetic restorations, and implant-supported prostheses. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her strong commitment to patient-centered, collaborative care.
With a solid foundation in digital dentistry and extensive experience managing complex cases, Dr. Chang blends precision, innovation, and compassion to deliver high-quality, individualized treatment for every patient. She is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese and takes pride in caring for patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Outside of the office, Dr Chang leads an active lifestyle. She enjoys long-distance running, yoga, strength training, and racquet sports- including tennis and, most recently, pickleball with friends. Dr. Chang looks forward to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles at Midtown Dental.
