Never feel nervous about dental care again

Sedation Options

We have seen so many patients who either put off their dentistry or faced it with anxiety and trepidation. We think this is a terrible shame.

Dentistry shouldn’t have to be so distressing!  In fact, dentistry can actually bring joy and comfort, especially to those who suffer from painful and difficult oral health issues.

We offer a wide variety of sedation options to help our patients relax and stay comfortable through any procedure. Some of our guests even use dental sedation during their cleanings, while others find that we are so gentle and caring that they don’t need sedation after all.

Light Sedation

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous Oxide, sometimes known as laughing gas, is the lightest sedation available. Simply breathe in the soothing gas during treatment and drift away.

After your procedure, we will give you some pure oxygen to breathe and most people find that they are able to recover enough to drive themselves in just a few minutes.

Sedative Pill

Oral Sedation

Oral Sedation involves taking a sedative pill before your appointment so that when you arrive, you are fully relaxed and ready to take a nap.

Someone else will need to drive you to and from your appointment, but that can be part of easing your way into the dental chair. Just imagine: you will be transported to your appointment, you can nap in the chair, and then be driven home in absolute comfort.

Deepest Level of Sedation

IV Conscious Sedation

IV sedation is our deepest level of sedation and recommended for patients who experience moderate to severe dental anxiety, need advanced treatment, or want to have several procedures completed in one sitting.

IV sedation dentistry helps you completely relax – and even sleep through your appointment. Our particular form of IV sedation is known as deep conscious sedation, a technique that allows medication to be administered directly into your bloodstream. You will be continually monitored to ensure that you are safe and relaxed throughout the dental procedure.

You will be awake and responsive during your treatment, but in a deeper state of relaxation than with our other relaxation methods. You will need a driver to and from your appointment.
